CICD and Me

Follow along as I deploy AWS resources into multiple accounts with GitLab-CI

Spring has sprung. This is Unlimited Leave, the AWS Governance and Management newsletter that keeps large EC2 instances running while being gone for spring break.

This week's topics

  • AWS CICD in GitLab-CI

  • Some ok announcements I guess

  • Greenfield Organizations Course Details

AWS CICD with GitLab-CI

It’s official. I’m a YouTube star. Someone else actually wanted to have me on their channel to talk about something.

Two weeks ago I shared that I recorded a video about a CICD Pipeline that I use and that has evolved in the last couple of years. The full video is for a fellow AWS Community Builders’ Youtube Channel about CI and CD on Amazon Web Service (AWS).

This week, at the time of this newsletter release, you should be able to watch the interview and demo here: https://youtu.be/xWmnURdTJgs

This solution has a long way to go. I’d be interested in your feedback or PRs for recommended changes.

Announcement(s)

Nothing of note that I’m tracking this week. But here are a few related announcements.

Greenfield Course Update

We are a go for presale.

Presale is going to go live with the release of the NEXT newsletter. The March 31st issue will have a link to review the course curriculum in works and lock in the lower rate. All the benefits of being a subscriber of Unlimited Leave.

If you know anyone else that may be interested in the content but is not currently getting the emails, please forward this message to them.
